Penny holds an Advanced Certificate (Distinction) from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) education program. Recently, she achieved wine judging credentials from the British Columbia Guild of Wine Judges. "So much wine, so little time... to taste them all!", she says. Now as owner/operator of The Wine Maker, since 2015, which she previously managed since 2001, she is proud to support the Think Local Victoria and Support Local BC movements in her business. Her husband, Rod, swim coach/owner of Pacific Coast Swimming, is happily supportive of her small business endeavours and will be a familiar face at The Wine Maker.

Triston, our "computer whisperer" keeps all things technology working smoothly.

​Savannah, occasionally on site, helps keep front of house organized. Currently a Geography student at UVIC.

Cole has taken a step away from the Wine Maker but you will see him at special events and when I need a 'pinch hitter' to help get the job done.
